Bruwell SC is a formulated blend of powdered calcium salts which add chloride to impart palate fullness and sulphate to give beer a drier and more bitter effect, thus improving beer quality and allowing the brewer to focus on the characteristics of their beer style of choice.
It also improves the health and vigour of your yeast, the quality of extract yield and fermentation and your wort run-off. It can also reduce the pH during mashing and wort boiling and so improve enzyme activity and promote the precipitation of unwanted proteins in the kettle, hop back or whirlpool.
