A Reusable Alternative to Single-Use Kegs

The UNK Keg is a reusable bag-in-keg system designed to help breweries and beverage producers reduce packaging waste while maintaining product quality throughout storage, transport and dispense. Compatible with existing filling equipment and standard coupler systems, providing a practical alternative to traditional single-use plastic kegs and stainless-steel containers.

Unlike conventional one-way keg solutions, only the internal UNK Keg Liner requires replacement after use. The keg itself can be reused for up to 50 cycles, helping breweries reduce material consumption, minimise waste and lower packaging costs. According to product data, the system can reduce material waste by up to 80% compared to traditional one-way plastic kegs.

Built Around Bag-in-Keg Technology

UNK Keg uses a bag-in-keg dispensing system that separates the beverage from the pressurising gas. Compressed air is applied around the outside of the liner, allowing the product to be dispensed through the coupler while maintaining product integrity.

As the UNK Keg Liner empties, it collapses inside the keg, helping reduce product exposure and supporting consistent dispense performance. The system is compatible with standard S and K couplers, allowing integration into many existing brewery and dispense operations without major equipment changes.

Designed for Safety and Reliability

Safety is a core part of the UNK Keg design. The keg body combines HDPE with glass fibre reinforcement to create a strong yet lightweight construction. In the unlikely event of failure, the composite structure is designed to release pressure gradually rather than catastrophically.

An integrated overpressure protection system activates at 8 bar, helping prevent excessive pressure build-up. Combined with the built-in safety features of the UNK Keg Liner, the system is designed to deliver reliable performance during filling, storage and dispense.
