Protect Beverage Quality

The UNK Keg Liner is a high performance bag-in-keg solution designed to help breweries and beverage producers maintain beverage quality from filling through to dispense. Suitable for use with both 20L and 30L UNK Kegs, the liner creates a protective barrier between the beverage and the external environment. This helps preserve freshness, flavour and carbonation during storage, transport and serving.

High Barrier Protection

Manufactured from a 9-layer laminated film, the UNK Keg Liner provides excellent barrier performance against oxygen ingress and carbon dioxide loss. By reducing oxygen exposure, it helps protect flavour stability and product freshness. Reduced CO₂ loss helps maintain carbonation throughout the product lifecycle.

The liner is suitable for beer, cider, wine, soft drinks and other compatible beverages where product stability and shelf life are important considerations.

Food Contact Approved Materials

Food-contact approved materials are used throughout the beverage contact pathway. The valve and spear sleeve are manufactured from food-grade POM. The liner also incorporates food-contact stainless steel springs and a food-grade TPE seal.

These materials have been selected to provide a hygienic and reliable packaging solution for beverage producers.

Designed for Reliable Performance

The UNK Keg Liner offers documented durability of up to 12 months when operated within recommended conditions. Independent testing has demonstrated oxygen transmission rates of less than 0.3 ppm per year and carbon dioxide loss of less than 5% per year.

Operating temperatures range from 9°C to 35°C, providing flexibility across a wide range of production and storage environments.

Built-In Safety Features

For additional operational protection, the UNK Keg Liner incorporates a built-in overpressure valve. This activates at pressures above 8 bar, helping safeguard the system during filling, handling and dispense operations.

Compatible with Your Dispense System

The UNK Keg Liner is available with either S or K coupler configurations and can be fitted into both 20L and 30L UNK Kegs. This provides beverage producers with a flexible, high barrier packaging solution that helps maintain product quality from packaging to point of dispense.
