Gregory Deuhs joins our family as the Managing Director of Murphy & Son Inc, USA. Gregory comes to us with thirty years of Brewing and Malting experience. He whimsically refers to his interest in Brewing as hereditary, as his immigrant great-grandfather operated a small brewery in his home state of Minnesota in 1862. Gregory began his professional career brewing during the first wave of US Craft Brewing, employing discarded dairy equipment and various bits and pieces donated from regional brewers.
He forged on which led to progressive opportunities at the Stroh, Miller, Redhook, Pabst and Milwaukee Brewing Companies. Along the way, he graduated from the UC-Davis Master Brewers program earning the Diploma Brewer designation and later the Master Brewer qualification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. Gregory holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University and the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. In the past, Gregory served and retired as a US Army Reserve Officer, and was called to active duty from 2003-2005. His free time now is spent enjoying time with his 14-year-old daughter, Amateur Radio, Curling, and is an avid fan of Formula 1.
