We are throwing a party and you are invited! As kind hearted, ocean loving individuals, we wanted to give something back to you for your loyalty to us and dedication to the cause of reducing waste plastic.

On the 27th September, we will be donning our glad rags, getting together and throwing some shapes down at our headquarters at Alpine Street, Nottingham. Register for your free ticket at Eventbrite.

We would love to have you here with us doing the funky chicken while eating some pulled pork.

As you may be aware, we have scrapped the deposits on our 25kg and 200kg returnable drums.

Those of you lucky enough to have a batch number below 54028 will have any remaining credit currently owed to you returned on receipt of a clean drum. Any drums with batch numbers beyond this, please still bring with you as we would still like them back.

Have you ever been interested in what goes on behind the scenes at Murphy Towers? This limited-ticketed event will have guided lab tours and talks with our boffins and the chance to pick their brains on any technical queries you may have with your brews.

If that’s not enough for you, this round is on us…We’ll have Round Corner Brewing pouring their Internationally award-winning beers from their classic Land Rover taproom, Mathilda. With the kids being back at school on the day, there will also be a bouncy castle and live music to keep the youngsters entertained if you decide to bring them in tow.

How to get here

With all that is cracking off over the course of the event, we won’t be able to offer the usual amount of parking due to health and safety and emergency access.

We would recommend coming by the Tram to come and see us so you can fully enjoy yourselves. Just like the beer, the stop is just ’round corner.

The trams run from Nottingham train station almost every 10 minutes. Murphy’s closest tram stop is the Basford stop (destination stop Hucknall or Phoenix Park). You must pay for your ticket before you board.

If you would like to keep your hands free for full-on ‘little fish, big fish, cardboard box’ action, you can either arrange for a collection or drop off your drums by the 23rd-25th September.

The partying will be carrying on after 7pm and be moving onwards to a pub crawl so keep that tram ticket stub handy!

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you and your families to this event.

Cheers and see you soon!
